just wondering how hard it is to change to door striker plate over to the anti burst jobbie? do i need to drill anymore holes or does it just slot in where the series ones went?

Well this months LRW shows you how to fit Series doors to a 90, so I presume they work in reverse. didn't have to drill anything either.

Got 90 doors on my series. Cant remember fully, but we did have to do some drilling.

cheers for the quick replies, should have worded it a little better.. i am swapping the 90 doors over to my series and series to the 90..90 has the anti burst locks, series has the old door latch type..

in which case u ned to drill 2 new holes on the series i think to make them fit as they are ush button off the 90

I got 90 doors on my series, you have to drill a couple of holes but nothing major! makes a big difference to the draught and cold problem.
It was great fun when I first insured it, the woman on the phone did'nt know what to say when I told her it had "90 doors" :lol:

and those doors look a damn sight better than the ones im fitting, then again going to be matt black so not a problem ;)

had a quick once over today, looks as though its just a case of measuring up the door striker plate and re drilling in the correct place, think the series ones are slightly lower.....

well, if its dry tomorrow, and my backs up to it i may well 'dryfit' one of the doors and see what problems i come across..may well have a good look at the screen as well see if something can be fabricated to move it on to the series..
