They have them fitted permanently now, according to the RAVE CD.

Spent ages grovelling about under mine looking for a hole to put the extra ones supplied in the toolkit :?

Also spent ages wondering what to to with the supplied spark plug box spanner on a TD5

The rear axle breathe terminates in the the left rear wheel arch. The breathers for the front axle, gear box and transfer case are behind the engine at the top of the engine cover.
There are wading plugs that need to be fitted to the timing case for deepish wading. Stored in the tool role behind drivers seat.

Hope that helps.  :)

I thought that about the plug-spanner as well

Is the bell-housing plug a permanant fitting then???

Had a look earlier - couldn't see any holes in the bottom of the bell housing - mine has a couple of plugs already fitted ( with an internal square on them - so a ratchet will fit straight in) - i take it these are the plugs?

The supplied plugs in my tool-roll look like swivel-filler plugs

The wading plugs are still there, but now are fitted from the factory and the plugs themselves are different - they take a 1/2" drive and I suppose you're supposed to open 'em up every now and then and check for any oil weeping past seals.

I agree the supplied toolkit is a joke, so I now carry a proper setup which I always seem to need for other peoples vehicles  :)
