A mate of mine is a self employed tree surgeon / landscape gardener. He was always fit & strong, but then he got trouble with his back. Like you he tried the G.P. etc but no joy. So he went to a private Osteopath (it was worth it to him because of the money he was losing!) & after a couple of sessions he reckoned it sorted him out!!!

So there is hope Bezza :)

He's emigrated to Oz now, makin a mint & never looked back :!:

I went to one about 36 years ago.  Had a trapped nerve in my back.   My doctor at the time was just prescribing pain killers.  That went on for a year.    I could be just sitting and turn to one side to set off the pain.  Also if driving long distances in a car, my left leg would give me hell.  OK on the motorbike or driving my employers wagon, but I was sitting straight up or leaning forward.  It was the osteopath that diagnosed a trapped nerve.  Bit of manipulation of my leg, then a tug, then I came down off the ceiling.    Been ok since, but I still get back ache due to the length of time I had the trapped nerve before treatment. Good luck.

Dont know what your actual injury is Bezzabsa, I suffered a collapsed vertabrea and realise how much stress a bad back can cause..... So I pretty much understand how much discomfort you must be dealing with. HOPE YOUR WELL soon.

started off as a sharp stabbing pain in my left 'cheek' that progressed down my left leg. this has now transformed into loss of sensation from ribs down to below my knee, as well as in my left 'cheek'...was told at first it was sciatica.. then they changed it to a prolapsed disk!!

CLICK CLICK CLICK SNAP..but i was a big boy i didnt cry.....Bloody well felt like it tho'
gotta go back Friday to have the muscle area worked on..
ps shes Blonde and mid 20's....

I had a bad back about 2 years ago, the quack just looked at me and issued the painkillers, didn't help much, father inlaw recommended one ot me went se her and after about 5 treatemnts good as new.

Wouldn't hesitate going back if a get a back problem again, I was back at work in 2 weeks which is not bad consdidering I could hardly walk when it happened.

Good luck with it well worth the pain she will subject you to,    you never know you might enjoy it

Its worth going to see an osteopath every couple of months even if you haven't got a bad back.  They straighten everything out and leave you feeling great.

i certainly wouldnt have thought of seeing one if the ma-in- law hadnt suggested it...costing me £36 a time, which i supposed when you think about it isnt that bad..certainly gave me a shock when she clicked the pieces back into line.
so after 4 weeks of being off sick, looks like another week or so of this and i'll be back earning money again!
