Why you might need a 4x4....

There's some grim potholes around Warks. I dropped into one hole at the side of lane recently and it jolted the transfer box into neutral- I've never even managed that offroading!

Two cracked alloys, one ripped tyre, 1 bust upper wishbone, one trashed downpipe, one narked composite propshaft.

3 years of driving round the country doing road damage to the car. Theres at least two A-Roads I wont drive on now and one is the main route into Southampton City from the M3
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

Some of the local back lanes around here are great fun, and they are not even UCR, RUPP or BOAT, about time Torfaen put some money into the roads, mind they are pro 4x4 - so thank you all in the Countryside Department at County hall......

Yup, The Avenue. The Audi is just not controllable in the outside lane. The Vit just goes everywhere. Another good spot is the M27 by Fareham West uon the hill there. I've been on greenlanes les rutted.

NewBloke if you're in Soton at all this week we have a meet on fri *hint*
