Painting windscreen hinges
« on: March 24, 2006, 18:46:33 »
The usual disease has attacked my winscreen hinges (paint bubbling up from the alloy corroding) - whats the best way to go about repainting them?
I was considering buying a new set - spraying them with etch primer , then the top coat of eastnor green , then the lacquer and then swapping the scabby ones off.
is there a better way (get them sprayed proffesionally?) or does anyone know anywhere thats reasonably priced?

Cheers
Darren

For God's sake - they are hinges !.................quick rub down and slap some paint on with a brush - no one will notice and I won't tell anyone :D
Then put the money you have saved towards a toy
The nice part of living in a small town is that when I don't know what I am doing, someone else does
