Good on ya matey, you know it makes sense.

If you need any extra help with bits and pieces, check out the www.lada.co.uk forum, there are loads of brilliant guys on there, including Hoodoo who does the 2" lift kit for around £20!!!!!!!

Check out my fotopic site to see the installation of this kit!!

Also parts are fairly cheap via Lada UK, speak to Alan Bird, 01768 779794. Absolutely exellent service!!

Good luck, and keep us up to date with how it goes!!

Been at it all afternoon with "non acidic wheel cleaner" and she looks 10x better..... Front inner arches have rot.... o/s sill has a small ammount and n/s wing has a small hole..... and exhaust is knackered.....all in alll not as bad as it looked..... :P

I'll need tyres for an MOT cause 2 are deffo cracked, one ? and one excellent...... its got SEMPERIT 205R16 M+S

Going to turn her over tomorrow...... see what happens! :?: need to try and get it running and make sure tranny is ok...... if not I'll have to buy another and keep "nippy" for parts...

Seats are cool...... roof liner is knackered ( no problem ) mice have eaten the sound proofing.... again easily sorted.....

SWMBO says there is no chance of her being ready for the Off road day at the end of April..... thats a challenge then.... what does she know?

Definitely going to be worth it in the end - especially when you start towing those landies out  :D
Respect to you for doing it, good luck - keep us posted on the rebuild and mods
If it doesn't work hit it with a hammer - if that doesn't work get a bigger hammer.
