hope you dont mind but i cant be arsed to go back to a cold workshop tonight after the day ive had.
just got back from holland late friday night, to a house with no hote water, emmersian had packed in :(
so off to BandQ for an emersion spanner, got home, the heater was solid in the tank, looked like the original from 1970 when the house was built.
so off to Band Q for a tank and eliment. £200 for a tank and eliment :( .
discovered you cant get  the same tank anymore, had to get a different one and all the fittings to try and make it fit :(
got home and the fittings were all wrong :(  back in the car again.
finally got the stuff, fitted the tank and apart from a slight leak that was cured all is well.
but after all that i cant be bothered to go back to work and work on the landy (only time ive got to work on it is 8.00-11.30 pm saturday).

so iam just gonna drink my self stupid, and maybe have a curry :?

Mark... keep your chin up and don't rush your project anyway or you won't enjoy it.

I have to replace the chassis on my IIa now.... I've not even run the engine I've just put in last year yet and it's all got to come out. Fed up with patches. The IIa is just sitting looking pretty until I get the time and money to do it, probably another 12 months away yet but it's not costing owt in the mean time.

Anyway, just think what a plumber would have fleeced you for that little lot! Your at leat £300 up on the labour I'd guess!  :D
