Theiving bas(people)rds again!!!
« on: March 27, 2006, 16:25:41 »
Just went up to take my father to visit his wife in hospital, and he told me he had had someone at the door saying he was from the council, he answered the door had he was wondering if he had a tenner for a load of change, dad pulled 3 out of his pocket and the scrote took them out of his hand and made off

Unfortunately this happed half an hout before I got there, otherwise there may have been some red blood ont he front of the car

He's 85, not very steady on his feet, and I am seething

He said he knew he should have known better but like a lot of older people they are too trusting by half, he was lucky it only cost him 30 quid. and the person didn't touch him

Luckily also that it dont upset him, he was fuming at being caught out, rather than what might have happened

That's horrible!!! I'm just glad they didn't physically harm your dad!!

I had a knock on the door one night just before Christmas: just gone 11pm, I was all alone in the house and the dog (who doesn't like strangers AT ALL) was out the back.
I went to the door and shouted "Who is it?"
the voice replied "Sorry to knock so late, but do you have 2 tenners for a twenty?"  "Yeah, right," I thought, "like you're going to give me 20 quid; you must think I fell of the Christmas tree" I called back, "No I haven't" I looked out of the window as the caller departed, got as good a description as I could and called the police.

I wonder if the human excrement who do these evil things have parents??

He's ok, his response was he was sorry he didn't have his walking stick with him, or he'd have hooked his nuts for him

We had a good discussion about it though, pity the nex legit person that knocks at the door though, I think the response will be a bit different

Believe it ot not, we think the sod tried it again this afternoon, my wife saw someone with similar description try it on with a guy 2 doors away while waiting in the car, while I was taking my dad in from the hospital today

I missed him by 20 seconds :x

Went to the old guy, who is partially sighted, and he said this mororn had tried to gain entry by saying he was here to fix his alarm, the guy dont have an alarm

I run around the area for half an hour looking, also 999 the call to the police as well, but the wife got a fair look at him this time.

Might be a report of a disco hitting a cyclist in the near future round nottingham followed by backing up over him
