Rock Sliders & HD Bumper
« on: March 28, 2006, 15:16:26 »
I'm in the market for a pair of sliders and either a front, or rear HD bumper.  I don't need a winch on the front, so I was just going to trim the original front, and plum for a HD rear.

The story goes that my place of work managed to "throw away" my sliders during stock take while they were here to be re-coated.    Thus, it's an insurance job.  Thus I need a nice supplier who can do both.

DiscoParts was my first choice (and still remains favorite) however I am always last to find out about new stuff on the market.

Vehicle is a 1998 5 Door TDi Disco.  Guide me.

Thanks
Horness

Don't like the tubular ones - although these are the best one's I've seen, and I did think about it.

Prefer the "normal" HD bumpers which fit the style of the vehicle better.

May have to be a HD rear and a set of sliders with tree guards on then.  Oh, and maybe a pair of QT diff guards.

Is that front or rear?  This is an insurance job, but I may be able to buy this, and use the insurance money to fit out the other end.

Any pics?

EDIT - found this one.

Very interested.  When you say " for sale in the next few weeks", what time scale are we talking?

Reason I ask, is I need a pay day or two to get the money together.  Where are you in the country for collection?

Ouch - Gosport.  150 miles away approx.

Timescales and price is right.  Journey could be an "issue".

Discoparts sliders & HD Rear bumper on the way.

Sorry denviks - you're a bit far away, will have to find something closer for my HD front bumper - I may just buy the same one from Paddocks, as that looks great.

Cheers guys
