just started to service the disco spent loads at paddocks got stuff second day on basic order so thought that was great service.
started at the back and going to work to the front
fitted the boot floor as it had severe tin worm
rehung rear door to stop water leak
fitted new pattern lap belts to the jocky seats in the back as both were missing bits
started doing nsr hub oil seal and it needs a new stub axle as it has had a siezed wheel bearing in the past and they never changed the damaged stub
so at least i now know why its scrubbing the rear tyre
will get a new bit tomorrow from rover as it comming over night delivery
so just the cam belt and filters and oils to change,steering damper and plate a couple of holes on the inner wings
dont know how this passed its mot with all these faults
but atleast i will know its up to standard when its done
and i did get it at a good price as i knocked him down in price cos of the faults i found when i looked round it
the only extra i didnt know was the stub and rear belts
will please the wife when its done as its her car :D :D
