The Weber kit for a Series III was a single choke carb. I know the later 2.5 petrol 90's had a twin choke Weber but not sure about the 2.25's?

If you've got a Weber agent near you then they would be able to find out which referb kit you need.

cheers guys, any info would be great.
i need to get a overhall kit as its seems a bit lacking , when you put your foot down its like driving in a head wind.
i know the 2.25 is not the most powerful engine but it should be better than it is. just cant hold 5th gear, got to keep changing down to 4th.

any ideas?  i think its the carb,as its not been looked at for 22 years.

before stripping the carb and breaking something as they tend to be very fragile, run some carb cleaner through it or some redx  fuel system cleaner, got to be worth a try before taking the carb to peices
