You have my sympathy.Same sort of weather if not quite the same problems we are having here. The weather is playing havoc with my plans to work on the camper - getting it ready for Towcester next weekend. Bob is trying to strip the paint of the bonnet (between showers) then he can fit my new bonnet fan and repaint it tomorrow.I'm trying to cut wood up to fit the new cooker unit, between showers that is. Grrrrrrrrrrr. Might be sandwiches next weekend.
just spent 7 hours swapping 1 door from 90 over to the series 3... not nice.. did the other side in 1 1/2 hours!!!!
I just cut a huge hole in the bonnet to mount a 10" fan (patchet?) that I picked up dead cheap off ebay. The bonnet was pretty much scrap as well due to a spare wheel not being correctly fastened down by the previous owner.I have a cowling/airscoop for it as well.It will either look dead 'cool' or totaly naff

You will have to post on here / email me some photos of it when it is done. would LOVE to see the out come of it.
I will save my money on the outcome for now. Also what do you hope to achieve by putting a fan in the bonnet and will it pass an mot with the fan on there? Just thinking about if you hit a padestrian / hiker they fall onto the fan and loose bits of body :D :( :?
If the water pump is leaking then DON'T put anti-freeze in it 'till it's fixed. The lower surface tension (sorry to get technical) will result in a faster leak that then causes fater wear in the metalic seal on the pump-shaft. In effect it will pack up in double-quick time.
