hi just to remind you mud clubbers of road workes m1 between junction 8 and junction 11 for the next  2 and a half year mandatory 40 mile a hour speed limit in force both ways due to speed cameras clocking every thing happy motoring through herts beds and bucks

just done some work in the Control Room that monitors the road works, thers a chap sitting infront of 40 monitors watching it all !!

I've noticed they've installed 3 average speed camera gantries southbound, not sure about north bound yet !

those are the "specs" devices, they clock you between two points over some distance and then get you, even if you (like 99% of us) slam on as soon as you see them!

you can slam on the first of the pair but as long as stay behaved inbetween you are fine

then you can cane it back to 70! ;)

btw im not advocating slamming the brakes, numbskulls do this!  :evil:
