Morning All Ive been offered and very cheap safetydevices roofrack and just wanted to know if anyone knows if a series 2 disco sd rack will fit a 300 tdi im sure ive read that they fit the other way around and theres a differance in length... but not certain any help would be apreciated

The series 2 roof is longer, so naturally the rack is also.  I believe the width is the same, though.  I have never tried, so I don't really know if it would just stick over or if the supports would be in the wrng spot.  I would guess the latter...

Still, you may be able to trade it on for the right one to the right person  :wink:

It will physically fit, but will be 6" too long ...
