Right, so what have i done!!! i have to pump my clutch to get it into gear then really shove it into gear.... oh dear... seems serious.... suggestions???

had a similar problem on the disco last week.
Turned out it was the slave cylinder.
Is there alot of play on the clutch pedal and does it feel really spongey?

the clutch just doesnt seem to do anything to be honest!

clutch master cylinder  :oops:  less than 20 quid and easy to do :lol:

from personal expeariance I'll say clutch cylinder.
Best advice I'll give as well is DONT RUN IT. I was told by my garage that you'll cause no end of problems if you start forcing it in to gear as there can be knock on effects to gear box and transfer box etc

Change both the clutch slave and master cylinders at the same time. (Well, repair the master, replace the slave). They always go within a few weeks of each other, and there's nothing worse than having to repeat the whole bleeding process again!

This has happened twice to me now, each time I have failed to heed my own advice :oops:
