transfer box and the handbrake rod and cable
« on: April 11, 2006, 09:16:13 »
managed to get myself another transfer box with the 1.410 ratio.

the handbrake and drum are on it but first visual inspection shows that there is a rod setup for the handbrake.

as mine is a cable type ....is it just a case of transferring the backplate and drum and shoes or is there anything else i need ???????

before i get the tools out

I put a Defender box in my Disco and the existing stuff just bolted straight on although if my memory serves me right it had one less bolt holding it in place.
Mine didn't come with any linkages.
