I will have a look later in the manual for the fuel stop thingy. It has just over 1/2 tank but after it has stopped it runs fine again for a bit.

An instant cut-out would point to the fuel cut-off as Dave suggests... not uncommon for the connection to be poor on the pump.

A fuel problem such as a filter / blockage / low fuel would more likely make the engine 'hunt' for a bit before it cut out.

As said earlier checked the cable was a bit loose so cleaned and crimped. Also emptyed sediment bowl and put new fuel filter in just been for a ride and all seems well high revs for a good while and did a lane so it got a good rocking and a rolling.
Never missed a beat. Thanks all think you cracked it :D
