Generic car hacking question ;-)
« on: April 21, 2006, 17:23:55 »
This is generic LR3/D3/RRS/RR question

Does anyone know any of the pin codes other than the current sat-nav "yay! I can use it on the move" hack (1791). I know there are codes to switch off/on certain functions like the speedlocking etc *without* using testbook.

Um...and if you *don't* know how to enter the pin codes:

Go to the nav screen, then hit the icon in the bottom corner (left) for the menu (destination entry etc). Hold your finger next to "Navigation menu" at the top of the screen - i.e. finger in the middle - at the top in line with menu title. After 5 seconds you are into the diag/pin entry mode. Enter 1791 and the nav hack kicks in - it only last until 2mins after key off tho...so you have to keep entering it.

Anyway - the list - anyone? If so......can you get me list please!

Don't tar all women with upside down map syndrome [-X  [-X

I read them extremely well, and even read them for the laning days! The only time we turn around is when the driver doesn't understand "slow down there is a turn coming up".

Going by my Mum when I have a caravan she likes to do the examine all possible roads first then turn around and go back and crawl passed each one until she sees one she likes.

Last trip was around Banbury and we missed the first turning and she said "no worries we can turn right up ahead and do a loop round".  What she didnt tell me was that there were 2 mega hump back bridges to get over or a very long reverse back down a single track road. Luckily I cleared the bridges with mm to spare.

admitedly yes some females are good at navigating. even better than some sat navs some times.   I have said it now
