My 300Tdi Auto disco makes a loud buzzing noise when the ignition is switching on (but the engine is off) 75% of the time its also very reluclant to start and requires lots of cranking.
I've changed the glow plugs and checked they have power - I'm just wondering wether this buzzing noise can be related to the poor starting, the noise seems to come from the fuel distribution box (the unit all the fuel lines come back to, can't remeber the proper name!)
Any ideas?
