Fitting Replacement Door Seals on a early 2 Door.
« on: April 27, 2006, 13:20:53 »
Anybody have a clue how to fit new door seals. I thought they might have been push on like my newer rrc.
These fit into a channel that is rivetted onto the door aperture lip.

I am currently admitting defeat .
Cheers
Steve.

Steve

If its the same as the tailgate rubber, then there should be an access point where the rubber pushes in and is then pushed around.

The only other way is to feed it in with a blunt tool.......

On my 84 RRC, it just pushes over a lip.

Sorry cant help anymore, but at least someones responded to you.

Good luck.

you need to push it in place with a tool like a wide scraper and some wd 40 in the lip and it takes time to do
