MOTed my camper today went straight through but got issued with a temp certificate cos the comp system has crashed
who said computors make life easy :lol:  :lol:  :lol:  :lol:

Mot system has been down for days.
Its a nightmare. we are gonna have to enter every car into system, drag up addresses, and reprint em all, then post the new certs out.
I recon its made us at least 1 mans work for a full day playing catchup.
They hope its gonna be back up and running for tuesday next week........

No, theres a special new cert booklet of Temporary MOT certs to be used, then resubmitted when the system is back up. It'd never do to if the old certs were used as you would never be put on the puter, and they couldn't nick you by mail for MOT being overdue :lol:

our MOT computer was back up and running yesterday,but it was a pain as when you phoned the helpdesk you just got told to call back later as they are busy( never mind the customer waiting for his car)!!!

I am sure that i read somewhere that the paper certificates were as valid as the printed out ones and only people who really wanted a printed one needed to go back to the testing station to get a printed one issued.
