tonight at work, put my window wipers on and run some wires for it.
thought id see if the v8 would start for the first time, fuel lines are done, just bodged up some wires from the coil, lumintion, and fuel pump.
i thought i have number1 cylinder rocking so put the dizzy in and connected the ht leads, and turned her over, it fired on one then two, three ect then burst into life, sounds sweet as a nut ticking over as iam shouting YES YES at the top of my lungs.

this engine was bought off ebay fully rebuilt, and hasnt run for at least a year (iv had it 6 months).

so cant stop grinning now. :D

Excellent! Well Done! Wont be long now before its roaring down the road!

That is one of the highlights of any restoration project, getting the engine going so near to completion!
