Hi all we went to Whaddon yesterday with my bothers disco for its very first outing as we have had it in our garage for the last five months modding it,
When we got there we had a look under the bonnet  a very small amount of coolant had seeped out around the glow plug from number 1 cylinder does this sound like head gasket? there is no gunk in the oil or any other symptoms associated with the head gasket giving up! any ideas?
oh its a 300tdi and seems to be running really nicely

Regards James

Seems a strange place for coolent to be sitting, sure it's not been splashed there when filling up the header tank?

If it's not showing any other signs then I'd keep an eye on the oil for contamination, coolent for oil on the surface in the header tank and it's level and see if any more comes out near the glow plug.  :?

Make sure all the jubilee clips are secure on the pipes in that area, just in case.
