A mate of mine is building a winch challenge vehicle for next year.  Don't ask why but he is building a Suzuki with Land Rover axles.  We've got a couple of Disco axles but the diff ratios are going to be too high with the Suzuki transfer box.

Where can we get lower ratio diffs from?  Is there another wehicle we can get diffs out of, I guess Series land rover ones would fit.  Or where can we get crownwheels and pinions from and how low can we go?

Cheers guys

Series diffs will fit, but they are quite weak compared to the ones you are taking out...  if you are looking at a challenge truck, then you are likely to be running big tyres and you might find yourself breaking them frequently ;-)

You can get lower ration Ring & Pinion sets for LR axles.. expect to pay a couple of hundred quid for each one though

We aren't using a Land Rover chassis, just Discovery axles on a modified Suzuki Jimny chassis with an SJ413 body.  Yes completely mad.
