Wading kits
« on: May 09, 2006, 15:55:57 »
I am thinking that as I keep getting a pool of water out from under the engine every time I go through water and for about 2 days after going through the water I am thinking maybe I should invest in some wading plugs and axle breathers etc.

I have seen this  Item on ebay and wondered if it is any good?

Also I have seen from the same seller this and wondered if they will fit my disco?

If anyone has any thoughts on why I would keep loosing oil out of the hole just behind the alternator pulley please post it here too.

Do mud club members get any discount :?:

It looks quiet hard to install as well because of that white box on the bulk head.

but can you get the connector bits that screw into the axles and have a connector bit on for aquatic hose from an aquatic shop?

i just linked into the existing black pipe with hose end connectors and extended them, then linked into the t'piece hose end connectors to end in 1 hose all from the aquatic shop.....similar to this site......

http://www.fishandfins.co.uk/aquarium-airline-parts.htm

if you havent got the existing bolt and existing black hose on already then no, an aquatic place would be useless

How about free postage..

The "white box thing" is actually an alluminium manifold that joins all the breathers together and allows you to run 1 pipe up the snorkel.
If you can drill 2 holes 60mm apart then you can install this kit.

Done mine for a tenna as well. Fuel line and connectors. Attached them to the original breathers so only a matter of extending them
