Looking forward to next months issue for part 2 8) .
Has Mr.Flat-Cap shown you the route book for the LRO run - he brought it with him last weekend at the show :D
I was also parked next to Felix last weekend, and in the pub with his owner

Yes, I saw it a couple of weeks ago just after the magazine came out.
He showed me the planned route through Yorkshire.
I was talking to him about a few lanes & might (possibly) be going off with him one day next week :?

I too can't wait to read part 2 (due out on 23rd/24th)

in the pub with his owner

Was that the pub with the picture of the Landy on the wall & the 'LRO' reading (ex-greenlaning) landlord?

Has he told you about the other article they're working on for possible inclusion in one of the summer editions?

I reckon they could do worse than give Brian his own column, he'd be a Yorkshire rival to Frank Elson ('LRM' & 'Bolton Evening News' journalist)

I've told Brian I will let him know when I get a day off mid-week as he wants to come over here and do some lanes near me

Didnt see a Landy picture on the wall in the pub we were in - but I might of missed it :?

I too think Brian would be a good columnist in LRO - his knowledge on laning and his sense of humour are second to none. I kept telling him to pursue it further and hopefully he will 8)

Can you ask Brian to let me know when his phone is sorted out so I can discuss next years event over here with him, he's bound to like the plan :D . I'd phone him on his mobile but he keeps me talking for ages and mobile calls are expensive

Well, he can ramble on as much as Elson

Will do

He can talk for Yorkshire that man, far more verbose than me.
He'd give many women a run for their money
