The guy in the unit opposite us has just finished restoring a scooter and had it out and about today, how it stays upright with all the lights and mirrors on is beyond me

:?  Do the lights work???

A guy i work with is restoring one. He is the last person you would expect to do it. It will be like a Gorilla on a scooter. :) :)

A mate of mine had a vespa with all the lights, mirror's and fox tails on when we were 17.
I love 'em but would never own one.

There used to be a car body shop opposite us and there was a very straight, standard Vespa in there. The company went bust after about 18 months, but I don't know what happened to the Vespa. I assume it got sold by the receivers along with all the equipment  :(
