clicking type noise from front end ?

got a strange type noise from front end ,when i pull away get a loud click , then doesnt do it again till i stop or reverse, checked c.v's. found one with no oil , re gresed one shot stuff, greased prop checked u.j's,tightened front radious arm bolts . no different , any ideas ?. wondered maybee transfer box fault or output shaft gear prob?. cheers alan.....

Try the brake pads. If they're a loose fit they can sometimes move within the caliper with the movement of the wheel (you move forward, they move to the front - click, you reverse & they move to the rear - click)

did think of that but its more of a torque thing, iff you pull away slowly it wont do it but iff you pull away quick and load the engine up it will, cheers alan........

Tighten propshaft flange bolts.........
Go on....cut me in half........it says SUZUKI all the way thru the middle!!

a clicking noise on mine was the front wheel bearing breaking up as it was dry and had no grease

checked the n/s w/brg repacked with grease, seems all o.k.
 checked radious arm bolts and bushes. removed prop checked re greased replaced to spcified torque but havent been out in it yet. today the noise apears from under the car pos between f/axle and transfere box . any more ideas /. cheers all alan......

front drive flanges on the hubs,pop the rubber caps off & have a look  :wink:

check gearbox/transfer case mounts.

Recently found Bullis had 1 out of 3 bolts still there, and the mount waggling about .
Go on....cut me in half........it says SUZUKI all the way thru the middle!!

been out tonight playing trying to find fault . found doesnt do it in low box any gear ,only in high box 1st gear, cant really get it to do a sight in second . looks like either t/box or g/box. holidays not looking so good eh. alan......
