smashed the starter on the animal at the weekend
is it a common thing on the early rangerover?
or am i unlucky looks like the prop came up and knocked the solinoid off

heard of this if its had an sd1 starter fitted as the solenoid is on the bottom

i take it that the solinoid is on the side on an orriginal rr starter then
been a long time since i have worked on them

SD1 starters have the solenoid in the way of the prop, Rangie ones are on the side.
