Any Merc Technicians out there ?
« on: May 22, 2006, 12:38:20 »
I'm having a bit of trouble with my ML 270cdi

The heater plug warning light was coming on, so I've swaped all the plugs for new ones and it's still coming on.

I read somewhere that it will be the timer/relay for the plugs.

Problem is.... Where is it ??  :?

It's been a long time since I worked on Merc light commercials (Sprinter, Vito) but if I recollect the warning light also acted as an EDC warning.

You could PM Thrasher who could ask Alan who works at Merc UK HQ for any pointers

there are some relays in the fuse box under the bonnet its on the right hand side at the back near the bulkhead, there should be a piece of paper telling you which relays/fuses are which, it may be in there, but ive never known this problem before at work.

Hope this helps
