well we had this td5 engine in the workshop as its scrap so the lads told me to get my tools out so i striped it right down to a empty block

sorry no.. I was given it at rover (i take the new owners in) and it was them who gave it to me ...well i did say if you are going to throw it out then throw it my way...and they did :D

ps, if there are any numbers on the engine . check thats its not a 6R4 engine.. if so ..get it on ebay or sotherbys.. worth a bomb ;)
