Got this e-mail from the Brecon Beacons Cave Rescue Team this morning.

Rover ambulance was recovered yesterday. It was abandoned in forestry less
than 10 miles from our base and it appears to be in a good condition. We are
obviously very pleased with the news. However, any donations you have
managed to raise via your forums would still be gratefully received as we
will need to install a tracker, repair the damage to our stores, upgrade the
security (steel doors, monitored alarm etc) and replace other stolen
equipment.
 
If you could pass on this news to the forums and thanks your members for
their help that would be great.

Thanks for the good news Les.

I think if we can all help protect their building, vehicle, equipment and the service they provide then I've got no doubts that the donations should be sent. I'm sure this will go some way to restoring the team members faith in human nature after the last week or so.

Is Tony still leaving the donations open until Saturday before sending the cheque to them?

Good news :) Shame thery didn't catch the scum but at least they got the vehilce back.

Any donations will be sent, but the initial cheque will be sent on Saturday.

A partialy possative out come but lets home they can recover the rest of the stolen equipment and that the scumbags behind this are caught and locked away for a very long time
I've updated the discovery owners club with the info.
