Water pump pickle!!!

Right im in a bit of a pickle!! Ive got a series 2 (def a series 2 not a 2a) and i need a new water pump. Ive rang lots of local companies (thanks to everyone who suggested people) but one of them said are you sure you need a series 2 water pump not a 2a cuz they are different. Having owned the vehicle for about 2 weeks i have no idea if it still has the original engine in it - is there an easy way to tell the difference between a series 2 water pump and a 2a water pump???

any chance you can get some pictures of the water pump. I have a load of landy pumps in the work shop including one taken off a series 2 and another off a 2a!

sorry didnt put picture on yesterday i popped over to amd 4x4 people and they said it was def a series 2 water pump with the 8 holes so now im stuck cuz he says that you cant buy them anymore but you can buy a fixing kit but will that work well enough????
