Quick Question - Defender Diff, how heavy?
« on: May 30, 2006, 18:16:53 »
Won a 24-spline diff on eBay, to replace the one I broke in Wales last week, and need to get it from Bristol to High Wycombe
Arranging a courier to pick up but they need to know how heavy as it will be over the 20kg norm
Sender has no scales big enough to hand so need an educated guess - any clues anyone?

Bit of video footage here (10Mbyte .wmv)

Looks like you had great fun but I have 1 question for you.

How didthat guy in the red disco end up against the tree in the woodland area? It is a dead straight road  :?

and also how did that light weight end up in that water? That was a straight bit of road too. Good recovery practice though

So much rainfall the slippiness surprised us all at one point or another
Once a vehicle had started to wander gravity quickly got hold
As James mentions, you can never have enough recovery practice  ;)

It was all great fun and Wales was gorgeous  :)

Hi Jake,

Any news on future MC meet at the Legion?

I'm in the process of maybe changing jobs to something with better and shorter hours so i'll get some free time back.
