Did anyone go? saw a load of 110's (inc 2 camels trophy) a gorgeous 101 and a 90 with a sort of 3/4 hardtop, while i was coming back from salisbury...main reason i asked is our works old 'un was there as an exhibit...

1969 last vehicle our bosses dad brought before he died..totally restored in 2001 , has won at malvern, and west park....still tested for use as a HGV, driven to all events - which pleases some other competitiors that trailer their wagons there ;)

Saw it (or one like it) on the back of a trailer with a load of other classics, heading north on the M6 by junction 8

My mum used to be a Sales Manageress for Ford and Slater (Leyland) back in the late 70s eraly 80s. We went to a classic show at Wollaton park in Notts last weekend, and supprised me and several exhibitors with the old trucks as to her knowledge!!!! Remeber the good old days of AEC and Scammel lol
