What a BAD Day
« on: June 12, 2006, 20:12:55 »
Took my 05 plate bike to work (normal).
At 13.20 hours i checked rear tyre size so i can order a new one (supermoto).
At 1415 hours i was told 6 blokes had just pushed it across our carpark and loaded into a merc white van and when they drove off just gave th v and finger sign to our forktruck driver (who did nothing nor did the young lad who was working outside).

Phoned swmbo so she can pick me up from work (she a good one) and on the way home the front drivers headlight had a fight with a stone and lost.

So if anyone around the Redditch area and has a bike then keep a look out for a white merc van (older shape i was told).

Bike Stolen was
HONDA FMX 650
05 PLATE
RED AND BLACK (STANDARD)
REG   BU05 OJM

and only 2300 miles (1 year a 2 days old)

and if anyone has a headlight for a disco 2 (not face lift) for sale then iam your man.

Thanks

Darryl

Sorry to hear about another bike going missing. Im sorry to say i wouldnt hold out much hope but they arent very common.
I used to work for Carnells(thats a while back when it was carnells!) and the only time i ever heard of the bike being recovered was when the owner phoned and told the police that the driver of the van pointed a shotgun at him.... strange thing is the helecopter was up and arv's stopped the van within 5 miles!
They really had pointed a gun at him but it just shows what they can do when they want to.Oh yeah and 10 years for armed robbery!serves the scum right.
Hope you get some good luck!

That's absolute crap mate, police won't even bother, i take it the guy's in the yard did'nt try to get the van reg, even though it was proberbly false, most likely to be broken for parts.

You work hard for what you've got then some scumbag just wheels it away, even if they get caught they get a few hours community service this country suck's!

Bad luck on the bike Daz800!

I hope one of em kills themselves on it!

I hope they do.

If i was out in our yard at the time on our fork truck then i WOULD have drove it stright into them or the van..
Trust me i would have done it.

If i see it going down any roads (i be on me other bike now) i will kick them off or if i am in my disco then i will run them over.. (sorry officer he just turned in front of me...).

Dependign where you work, check neighbouring businesses, or your own, for CCTV footage - give the cops the number and insist they bl***y do something.

I had a car stolen off the drive in the middle of the night, all I got was a crime number, never had to sign a statement or anything.  They just weren't interested.  Yet it is often a case of organised crime.

Well, there are enough people with "questional backgrounds" around here looking for these guys.  I spoke to Don Fisher yesterday and several others who will ask about.

If we find them Bro, lets not involve the police as I doubt the bike is in a condition that you would want it back.

Not very PC correct but better to deal with it the old way!

Police havent been interested for years too much paperwork and if the merger goes ahead it will be even worse, less manpower to cover a bigger area just to save money to give mp's yet another pay rise!
