iv a prob on my 95 2.5 range
if u select 1st and 2nd it crunches , if u change really slow u can change without the crunch but its now anoying !!bbb :x
it will also jump out of 1st when pulling off but only sumtimes
has any1 had this ,whats ur idears ??

Apart from the obvious of a shot gearbox, when was the oil last changed on it, you could try some additive, but with it jumping out of gear it sounds like another unit for it, or a strip down and replace the offending items

ill give it an oil change as iv no idear when it was last done , might make it a bit beter !
prob gona be the sincromesh on the first 2 gears tho ?

sounds like the baulk rings are worn, i have the same prob in second gear.
basically its a worn out gearbox, have reconned or buy another.

im gona try a oil change at the weeend be4 i do anything else.
when the cars cold its ok and will only start crunching when its warm

So it's worse when the oil heats up and goes thin? got to try an oil change first then. Try some additive too.
