I would have to agree, being a long time massive eagles fan.  Although i did prefer the line up before Don Felder left a couple of years ago.

Even better i would have preferred to see the very very original line up from the 70's which was pre Joe Walsh and that.  It was originally Glenn Frey, Don Henley, J D Souther and Bernie Leadon (although i think there were other members i just cant think of them off the top of me head).

Favourite song has to be Ol '55 (which is one of the 2 possibly 3 covers i know of to hand, 1 being heartache tonight (Bob Seger), Ol '55 (Tom Waits) and Take It Easy (possible cover, written by Jackson Browne and Glenn Frey))

Some might call me an anorak, and they would be right!

Eagles, great band even if I be honest there's only one song I really know (Hotel California)

Watched part of a live one on TV A few nights back and it was brilliant, apart from I can't work out why they need 4 guitarists... And the drummers the lead singer...

you had to be there to appreciate it ,as for the drummer being the lead singer is incorrect   they all had a go ,joe walsh was so funny ,as he was trying to explain how he was so drugged back in the 70's he didnt remember writing one of his hit songs hillarious, the concert was about 3 hours long ,and refreshingly they played about 5 or 6 new songs ,and had a pop at george bush as well

Thats the problem with the yoof of today!

They need 4 guitars cos it makes some awesome effects with the music, and as wing nut quite rightly said they all had a go at singing, glenn frey was in fact the one you would probably call the lead singer.

What i loved was the way Don Felder and Joe Walsh played together.  The twin accoustic guitars on the live version of Hotel California was awesome!
