Tubular Bumper woes
« on: June 16, 2006, 12:28:57 »
wellllllll today i finally got around to fitting my new tubular bumper with the help of dave.

excellent product from guardian 4x4 and i would recomended them to anyone.

But....... its not me :( from the front the bumper looks awesome and would set the car off a treat with me chunky muds im soon to fit :)
but from the side :( i didnt like it at all, didnt look right just the edge of bumper on the front then nothing till the wheel .... :(  "pics in my gallery"

so i guess its back to saving for a scorpion one

;) so theres a nice new tubular bumper for a 300 tdi in the for sale section ;)

I'm with you on that one Keith - looks great from the front, but it needs sides on it - can they make one for you?

what about making something up for the sides and bolting it on like a mini rockslider etc, i think its ok myself and will look a lot better if you had big mud tyres fitted...

i think even if you trim the bracket off and paint a neat black line on the bottom edge it will look much neater..

Mines the same as that, my disco is a bit more rough and ready so it does'nt bother me that much.

been thinking about getting some arch extensions but it just squeezes though most stuff now so not sure if the arches would last that long.
