Crash happened outside my house today! I heared a loud bang and went to look.Found a car on it`s side with the other car smoking away! Phoned  999 and it took ages for the police to come.Meanwhile i have been directing traffic cos it`s a busy crossroads!Next thing we get 3 police cars,2 fire engines and one blood wagon! What took them so long!!!! Lucky the bloke climbed out of the car in one piece

Week before last we had a biker going round a bend to the right hugging the white line and banking over until the whole bike(minus the bottom of the wheels) was in the other lane into on-coming traffic. Needless to say it amounted to committing suicide

They were probably busy on other jobs. We get a very quick response time round here......due to there being not much traffic, so not many accidents, no hooligans wasting police time etc etc..... Tis pretty remote where i am though.

Yes, the thought of 'If something comes I'm Screwed' Did go through my head comming off your drive :)
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

its not that bad.
the funniest one we had.

a car took the lamp post down, police turned up, parked up on the verge, women in car comes round the corner too fast, loose control, skids into the back of the police car.lmao
