My first car, and the car i did it in, was a Fiat 128 Rally, left hand drive import, 1.3 OHC, it would out corner a XR3.

Didnt look so good, when a artic came around a blind corner, on the wrong side of the road, and drove over the bonnet, tractor unit and trailer, pushed the engine into the tarmac.

Best bit of advice given to me by my girlfreinds mum (at the time) who taught me to drive, and sold me the Fiat 128 Rally,

"TREAT ALL OTHER ROAD USERS AS IDIOTS",

by which she means, "just because they indicate left, doesnt mean they wont turn right" and another good one, just because they are looking at you, doesnt mean they wont pull out infront of you"

THE OTHER 15% MADE IT HOME ;)

Ahhh..... that is what I aspired to when I bought the 1.3 Marina......NOT! Surprisingly fast, but they forgot to design it to go round corners

I got 102 out of the Volvo, private road of course, tailwind and downhill.

Only car not capable I've had is the zook.

Managed 157.6 on MIRAs test track in the audi, I didnt look t the MPG reading but I suspect it as something along the lines of -E-
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.
