The zuk so far....
« on: June 23, 2006, 10:38:44 »
well i wasn't going to do any mods to it but 6 wks of ownership later and it now looks like this.

so far i've fitted wheel spacers, removed the bull bar, skipped the standard bumper along with the anti roll bar, fitted a K&N, fitted chequer plate side skirts, got a better heavy duty bumper, fitted 2" shackles but the ride was pants so binned them, new pro comp ES3000's +2" should be here monday so i just need some super carry springs now, and then some 235/75 MT's  :D

oh and i've evicted the rust bugs from the rear wheel arches, and half way through building some rock sliders

don't you find that the rides awful with shackles on? i made some +1.5" at work and they put the springs under extra tension articulation was out of the question and they look pretty poor at front when the spring doubles over, think lifetd springs are the way forward for me.

cheers for the comment by the way

no got it on flea bay but i wouldnt think it should be too hard to fabricate with a pipe bender and some 2mm wall thickness tube, the only thing i've done on it is have it shot blasted and welded some spotlight brackets on still need to get it powder coated but its on my to do list.
