Clutch Nightmare ~ Unless I am the only Idiot, Others Beware

Right,

Ordered my new clutch, went standard this time......

Phoned man in shop, he asked if i Samurai and I said NO.....
What I didnt add was that I had a Santana......

After 4 Hours of Cutting the old exhaust off (have new used one) and removing front & Rear drive shafts, transfer box, almost everything else underneath eventually got the gearbox out.... and removed the old clutch..... offered new one up to the fly wheel and ................... #-o

Different bolt hole positions..... ](*,)

Phoned V8 Moneypit...... Great help..... established that there were differences, back to Discount Autoparts and discovered that an SJ410 Santana is not listed under Zoooke but under Santana..... and although the clutch plate and release bearing ar the same the presure plate is different.....

Oh

and they can get me the right one on Monday..... ](*,)  :-({|=

So, thats Monday and Tuesday Nights entertainment sorted!

Erm ...yes
My 413 is actually a santana, and Ive noticed the odd difference.

Santana lights are it would appear unavailable any more thru suzuki dealers. They can get 3 different varieties of headlight unit, all different, but non the same as a santana.
other bits subtly different as well I guess.
