Must be getting better at it I only hit 3 trees today.
Ground was a bit dry in places but still found some mud.

the lamb was a molly lamb and thought it was being fed

trystan was unfazed by it all but a calf moo'ed quite close to him and he got scared poor soul!

he also petted a deer, and a goat, and a donkey

Just had a great day out at Tong

But I thought Tong fell (just) within the bounds of Bradford, the Leeds signs don't appear until the dip before you climb up to 'The Beulah'

Whilst you're in that 'neck of the woods', go & have a walk into Post Hill woods.
Don't drive in even if the gate is open, as West Leeds Motor Club is very possesive of the land.

The hill itself is a big long straight cobbled climb (around 1in2 for 300yards)

lol i suppose so but the pig's door was covered in newspaper clippings covering the story of it being in the film

if they were comical type news clippings i wouldnt have believed it but since the clippings came from known papers it must be true.

what was funny though was that the helpers who were showing the visitors how a milking parlour works, someone said they could be kicked by the cow on the raised platform, and they said no.

funnily enough i have been kicked in the face when i was 5yrs old

in dad's milking parlour i was walking behind the cattle and one of them didnt like someone behind her so out came her hoof and caught me a beauty!

must be why im such a looker now eh! a cow's hoof does wonders to the looks of man!
