Ok not stricktly defender by given the LWB have them fitted I guess I'm more likely to strike luky here.
My 101 has Sailsbury Diffs frotn and rear and has developed a whirr from the
front Diff.
I've removed the prop and gone for an run and the whirr is still evident.
I've jacked up one wheel and recorded the clunking that is emitted from the Diff as the wheel is turned backwards (most cluncking) and forwarwds where it cluncks to a lesser degree..
http://www.zen79997.zen.co.uk/diff/diff.MOV This is a quicktime movie file and 20meg so may take a while to download - sorry it's all my Kodak camera does.
Is this to be expected? like normal?
If it's not normal suggestions as to the failure appreciated.
