Will these bits fit my TD5 ?
« on: July 03, 2006, 22:59:19 »
Evening Chaps
I have been given a dog guard (genuine) and a pair of climair wind deflectors for a 300 series discovery - will any of these bits fit my 2001 TD5 disco ?
I would assume that the doors are pretty similar so hopefully deflectors will fit ok but not sure about dog guard
Thanks in advance
Kenny

I think you'll be disapointed in the deflectors too, TD5 have a different door and rubber arrangement and as the deflectors fit into the rubber channel.........

Won't hurt to try them though.

Thanks RRB - Gave the deflectors a quick try at lunchtime and looks like they may fit if I file a little off the bottom leading edge next to the door mirrors - got them for nowt so no harm in trying I suppose !
Barmie - you were spot on too - dog guard don't even come close - just my luck !
