Well, I have finally started my bobtailed pickup, got as far as taking the roof off, today I hope to get it joined up again.

More pictures added,  nmow ready to cut the chassis and reweld the back cross memeber,, that's after 4 sabre saw blades and 3 jigsaw blabes.

Now need to get welding.. :lol:

i take it that is is going to be a truck cab? i bet your neighbours love you at the mo  :D

good luck with it all, have fun welding with a gas tank right next to you, i assume thats what it is  :?

Yep, its going to be a truck cab,

Neighbours aren't too happy,, never mind !!!!!

The gas is all disconnected Timberdog is supposed to be collecting it, the tank will have to be moved I'm not that brave to start welding next to it  :roll:

Sorry matey... wasn't payin attention to the hulks I was scavanging from... all I can tell you is it has a GM logo moulded into it.

Al I can suggest is get down the scrappers amd have a mooch about. The self service kind are best rather than the breakers.

Had a bit of a result today, my mate came round to see me and the project so far and he has just given me his old Disco, H plate 3.5 efi, failed MOT on sills and he can't bo bothered to do it  :lol:

Only small catch, I have got to get his 110 on the road for him, he will pay for the parts etc I will provide the labour...

At least I have a donor vehicle for parts for the bob tail  :lol:  :lol:
