you need to consider the care factor of those who wrote and those who obtained the vehicles for the programthe writer may know his jeep from his lr but the production mgr (i think thats the right one?) may not and a 4x4 is a 4x4 to him.an oversight on his part and on others for not noticing the difference before going on air which upset those who know which is which.not sure if you write in if the person reading the letter will take you seriouslyjust a warning in case nothing will be done about it

I've got to agree with that afront to Solihulls dignity.But!Don't forget to Mr & Mrs Average (including BBC scriptwriters), JEEP is just a generic term.For example;Any vacuum cleaner is a 'Hoover';A ball-point pen is a 'Biro'A cola type soft drink is 'Coke'etc......All brand-names but carelessly used by practically everyone
