Am I right in thinking that the hoses on a 109 are longer than on an 88? (Working on the basis that the 109 has extended shackles....)

Ta muchly. So +2 inch 109 hoses will be 3 inches longer than my standard 88 hoses - which are too short for comfort with the paras fitted, even without extended shackles.
Talking of which...
Do those of you that have extended shackles on their '88s use the axle wedges to level the diff or not?

Are those +2 inch brake lines a special made set or just a standard e.g. the one ton as i know they have longer shock absorbers. As i plan on fitting extended shocks to the front of mine and as it stands on standard springs there isn't much room left to play already.
As for the wedges i don't know wether they will need to be fitted to the front or not. Seem's that they would do in theory to keep the prop in line. But i think in practice there wll be those who say yes you have too and those who say you don't. But all the leafers i know don't have extended shackles on the front.

Paddocks do sets of Goodridge hoses for 88s and 109s in both standard and +2" lengths - for £25 you can't beat the price - local company makes them up to suit, but they want £25 each!
