Am I just getting even more cynical in me old age ?

I thought this world cup was dreadful.

Boring games. awfull decisions but some great acting.

More red cards all round I say

I packed, cleaned the cooker, cleaned the floors, ironed while the WC (ha ha ha, just realised that one) was on.

Watching paint dry would be more interesting than watching over paid pansies play acting.

I voted no ... I reckon it was the worst bit of the World Cup   And completely pre-meditated.

The commentators were trying to find something to justify his actions - nothing could! He's a very famous football player, playing in the final of the biggest football game and being watched by millions (including millions of kids).

I hope he gets a hefty fine ... what a prat

That was really odd, he put his head down and charged at him like a raging bull... the Italian was lucky, an inch up and his chin would have been a bloody mess!

He got the last laugh though thats for sure

Best bit of the world cup? hmm well it was nothing i couldnt see in my local high street come saturday night but i suppose it was!

I feel sorry for him tho- the latest news is that his mother was ill, and had been hospitalised that morning, and the italian player said "your mother's a w***e"

Any other day and Zidane would have been ok, but it just touched a nerve.

I personally feel that any proper "sportsman" wouldnt resort to name calling OR violence.
4x4x4play! ;) They call me Emms...
